To all Armwrestling Federations, Official communication on doping control / World Championship 2009 This letter is to inform you about the decision of WAF Doping Control Committee after anti-doping test during the World Armwrestling Championship (6-13 September 2009) in Porto Viro / ITALIA. Mr. Alexander FRASH(110kg) and Mr. Alexey LEMESH / KAZAKHSTAN (90kg) have been controlled during the competition, and their test result is positive. Conclusion: The findings are consistent with the administration of prohibited substances(class S1.1: Anabolic androgenic steroids). Decision taken by the Doping Control Committee for the two athletes: - TWO years suspension from any WAF, EAF, international, national or local Armwrestling event or preparation to these events;- This suspension is also valid for all sport disciplines, all over the world;- Disqualification for the 2009 World Armwrestling Championship;- Removal of the medals (Left and Right Arm). The suspension will end on 31 December 2011.This means that the athlete is suspended for the World and European Championships 2010 and 2011, even if the date of championship would be after 20 November 2011.Return to competition can start on 1 January 2012.After the end of suspension period, the athlete will be submitted to doping test at his first European or World championship.
